Colaco to attend "Distinguished Christian Scholar
Lecture," at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.
Robert Colaco, Volunteer National Chairman and Founder
of Citizen For A Better America ®, with the acronym
of CFABA.ORG will attend a Program entitled: "A
Christian Statesman in Victorian Britain:
William Ewart Gladstone."
"It was absolutely incredible to hear Dr. David
Bebbington this morning speak at Calvary Church in
West Hills, California. This was my first time
attending the morning worship service there,
Sunday, January 12, 2003. The Senior Pastor John
Powell had invited Dr. David Bebbington to speak from
his pulpit that morning even though he was there. I
was educated, inspired and encouraged by Dr.
Bebbington's words," said Colaco.
As stated on the Pepperdine University website:
Dr. David Bebbington is here from Stirling, Scotland to
lecture at various venues. "He will be lecturing at the
23rd Annual Staley Distinguished Christian Scholar
Lecture Program Presents, "A Christian Statesman in
Victorian Britain: William Ewart Gladstone."

"Some of his more notable books include Patterns in
History; The Nonconformist Conscience: Chapel and
Politics, 1870-1914; Evangelicalism in Modern Britain:
A History from the 1730s to the 1980s; William Ewart
Gladstone: Faith and Politics in Victorian Britain; and
Holiness in Nineteenth-Century England."
