CFABA.ORG announces its recommendation for the March 05, 2002 California elections.
NEWS RELEASE:
CFABA.ORG announces its recommendation for the March 05, 2002 California elections.
“For this election cycle we e-mailed out questionnaires to 862 candidates in California. As of our deadline on 02/28/2002 we have received 43 responses. Sadly, not one of those candidates qualified for our endorsement. We are still receiving
submissions and may still find a candidate who qualifies for our endosement. We ask twenty five tough questions in our candidate questionnaire and require candidates to sign it under the penalties of perjury,” said Colaco.
Does this mean we do not vote? “I have been asked that many times, my answer is, we as morality and values based California voters need to go to the polls to vote, if for no other reason than to vote on the ballot measures,” said Colaco.
“I have been asked about who will I be voting for if we did not endorse a candidate, more times than I can count,” said Colaco. My answer is, “That I will not vote for anyone that has not received the endorsement of Citizens For A Better America®.
Some people have been absolutely appalled at this concept. They have attempted to tell me how we ought to vote for the lesser of two evils. I rejected that concept many years ago. I want to see more morality and values based candidates dare to run for
political office. That happens when the voters say they won’t settle for the lesser of two evils.”
In fact in our CFABA.ORG Candidate Questionnaire ™ we tell candidates, “By endorsing your candidacy we are actually telling our constituency, the general public, and our membership that you deserve to be on our GOOD GUYS LIST ™ and you are worthy to
be voted for. We take this very seriously. We do not endorse the lesser of two evils. If we do not find someone worthy, we do not endorse. We are staking our reputation on you being worthy of our support.”
My message to morality and values based voters is very simple. If you think we are just too tough on the candidates then I would encourage you to click on the following link:

At this website the current Secretary of State of California posts the e-mail and website addresses of the state office candidates who submit them. On another page are links to county registrars up and down the state of California. Every candidate on
this page with an e- mail address has already been sent a CFABA.ORG Candidate Questionnaire ™. Go to their websites, or send them an e-mail, ask them how they stand on the issue(s) that matter to you. If you do not hear from them or that issue is not on
their website then DO NOT VOTE FOR THEM," said Colaco.
“That does not mean you skip voting,” Colaco said, “your vote counts, and we as Morality and Values based voters in California need to vote on ballot measures and initiatives in each election even if there is not one candidate we can support. Below is
