HAVE YOU BEEN LIED TO?™
THE LIE:
Patriotic Americans should not be involved in their government.
WRONG!
What would have happened to our country if 56 Americans did not get involved in their government on July 04, 1776? Their willingness to sign the Declaration of Independence, that most incredible document with final words of, “And for the support of
this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor,” cost them all more than we can imagine.
Was that statement that they signed: ..."we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor," easy? NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT!
As reported on July 04, 2000 on the 700 Club television program for example:
“Francis Lewis, the British captured his home and his wife, the hardship she endured during her captivity killed her, he is buried in an unmarked grave.”
“Carter Braxton, was a wealthy ship owner from Virginia. He saw his fleet destroyed by the British and his plantation set ablaze. Carter Braxton died with no money to his name.”
“Then there was John Hart. He was driven from his home and lived in caves for over a year. When he returned he found his wife dead, his thirteen (13) children gone, he never saw them again.”
“During the pivotal encounter here in Yorktown, Virginia, Thomas Nelson, Jr. another signer of the Declaration of Independence discovered that his beautiful home had been taken over by the British and being used as headquarters by their commander Lord
Cornwallace. Immediately upon learning of this he ordered artillery fire to fall on the home and because of this and other wartime sacrifices, Thomas Nelson Jr. died bankrupt.”
“In all, over a third of the men had their homes ravaged. Five were captured by the British and tortured as traitors. Nine fought with the American militia and died. Four lost their sons in battle. And practically every one of the signers suffered not
only heavy but in many cases debilitating financial losses.”
I challenge my patriotic friends in America to get involved in the government. I am not asking you to give up your wife. I am not asking you to give up your ships and property. I am not asking you to have your wife captured and for you never to see
your children again. I am not asking you to destroy your own beautiful home by your own command with artillery fire. I am not asking you to die bankrupt, but maybe the founding fathers might have.
I am asking you to get involved in helping to elect morality and values based candidates to political office. What kind of candidates you ask? Candidates who are like those 56 men that signed the Declaration of Independence. Candidates who are Pro
America first, Pro traditional family, Pro Life, Pro 2nd amendment, Pro USA sovereignty, Pro Constitutional candidates from party committees to the presidency, all over America.
I have been asked more times than I can remember, or count, the question, “We work so hard to get people elected and then they turn on us. How do you know, that the candidates that you endorse will not turn on us?” The answer to that question is that
we have developed over the eight years of being a political committee a candidate questionnaire that really gets to the heart of a candidates’ core beliefs. What they really believe, what they are willing to compromise on. We ask nineteen (19) questions
of each candidate that we review. They are very tough questions on the very tough issues of the day and we ask them to sign the questionnaire under the penalties of perjury.
We ask questions to determine whether they truly are Pro America first, Pro traditional family, Pro Life, Pro 2nd amendment, Pro USA sovereignty, Pro Constitutional candidates. We even ask them a question that would certainly apply to what the U.S.
Supreme Court has done in recent weeks.
12. Given recent Supreme Court rulings which have prohibited prayer in public schools, would you support either the use of Article III, Section 2.2 of the U.S. Constitution to exempt the appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme Court in such
cases, or a law by the U.S. Congress which would allow voluntary prayer in public schools and the posting of the Ten Commandments on the walls of public school classrooms and courtrooms?
This question really gets to the heart of what our endorsed candidates believe. Are they willing to utilize the power that was placed in the U.S. Constitution by our founding fathers that allowed for the U.S. Congress to exempt the appellate
jurisdiction of the Supreme Court in certain cases like those that would allow voluntary prayer in public schools and the posting of the Ten Commandments on the walls of public school classrooms and courtrooms? The candidates on our “Good Guys List”™
have the guts and the bravery to stand up and be the catalyst against even the U.S. Supreme Court.
What difference is there between what the U.S. Supreme Court did by not allowing prayer at high school football games in Texas and overthrowing the Nebraska law outlawing partial birth abortions, (a gruesome medical procedure that is reminiscent of
Hitler’s Germany)? Look at what those 56 signers stated was one of the reasons for The Declaration of Independence: “For taking away our charter, abolishing our most valuable laws and altering fundamentally the forms of our governments; For suspending
our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.” We cannot overlook the similarities between English abuses of power and the Supreme Courts’ abuses of power. What is the solution to the
arrogant rulings of the U.S. Supreme Court? The answer is for us to elect enough men and women to the U.S. Congress that are willing to do what our Question 12 says.
We also recognize that we must elect men and women who are people of character and who are willing to only appoint and endorse men and women who are like them, as they have committed to do in our Question 18. Men and women who are even willing to
disagree with their own political parties as they have committed to do in our Question 19.
Will you help me elect these kind of men and women to offices from party committees to the presidency all over America? I hope your answer is yes. What can you do? Become a member of Citizens For A Better America ™ with a commitment of 5.00 dollars a
month or more, as little as 60.00 dollars a year.
Again, I am not asking you to do what those 56 signers did but I am asking you to not buy into the lie of not being involved in your government. Become a member of Citizens For A Better America with a minimum commitment of 5 dollars a month, 60
dollars a year because you can be truly confident that our endorsed candidates are going to be men and women we can be proud of just as we are proud of those 56 signers of The Declaration of Independence.
