Citizens For A Better America® celebrates the beginning of its seventh year with a major update of its Internet Web Site.
"These days are great days as we remember the beginning of Citizens For A Better America ® on
October 15th, 1992," said Robert Colaco, National Chairman and Founder of Citizens for a Better
America ™.
"I founded Citizens For A Better America ® on October 15th, 1992 for the purpose of electing
morality and values based candidates to public office from party committees to the Presidency all over
America," said Colaco.
When I ran for Congress in 1992, I put out a flyer, where I said, "Our Country can only be turned around if
we elect men and women who are not afraid to serve our Country, to do the hard things, to use ethical and
moral judgment in their decision making, and most of all to be responsive to the people who elect them.
That is why I decided to run for Congress. I realized I could not expect others to do this if I would not do
it myself." I did not win that election but Citizens For A Better America ® has gone on to find just
these kinds of men and women.
"I am excited and thrilled that during these past six years we have helped to elect many candidates to
office. I am also very pleased with how over the years we have developed better and better ways of
determining the core beliefs of candidates we evaluate and of determining whether they can be counted on
when the going gets really tough, as it invariably does in political life," said Colaco.
"Our candidate questionnaire has nineteen tough questions covering a multitude of issues and we ask
candidates to sign under penalty of perjury. This is really the solution that we have dreamed and hoped
for," said Colaco.
On September 25th we announced our "Good Guys List"™ for the November 3, 1998 General Election
and we now have that information on the web site. That list included the following candidates:
CA-Diane Templin 1, Candidate for State Attorney General.
HI-Mark Moses 1, Candidate for re-election for State Representative,
District 42.
TX-Tom Cottar 1, Candidate for U.S. Representative, District 09.
WA-Lois McMahan 1, Candidate for State Representative, District 26,
Position 1.
WA-Ron Taber 1, Candidate for U.S. Representative, District 09.
More information about these candidates can be found at
http://home.earthlink.net/~colaco/aa01001.html [moved to “GOOD GUYS LIST”™, for the November 3, 1998 General Election.]
We have also added more Articles from our "HAVE YOU BEEN LIED TO?" flyers and more of our
Commentaries and News Releases============. There are more than 20 additional pages.
"I am thrilled about our accomplishments in the last six years and look forward to what we can accomplish
in the future. I am excited about this major update to our Internet Web Site. I recommend that you see it
for yourself," said Colaco.
