Dear Dr. Moody
As the National Chairman of Citizens For A Better America, I wholeheartedly endorse and support the Power Team coming to the Los Angeles Area. This appears to me to be the largest anti-Drug event ever to take place in the Los Angeles area.
Additionally, I want to thank you for taking the time and energy to make your facilities available to be used for these rallies as well as your agreeing to help coordinate the appearances of the Power Team at whole school assemblies in local Junior and
Senior High Schools.
As an organization whose mission statement includes electing morality and values based individuals to public office. I appreciate knowing that among locally elected officials Assemblywoman Paula Boland and Senator Cathie Wright have both allready
endorsed the arrival of the Power Team. I say a big “thumbs up” for these ladies and I would encourage every elected government official to likewise endorse the Power Team. The Power Team is able to reach our young people and encourage them by letting
them know they have value and great potential. This is demonstrated by the members of the Power Team themselves, each of whom provides a great role model for our youth at a time when the young people of the Los Angeles Area need to see some great big,
strong men who have morals and values.
As we start a New Year, and as today is the day that we look forward to the swearing in of a new Congress with 86 new members in the House of Representatives, we are excited about what 1995 might hold for our Nation. The Power Team is one of those
“rays of hope” just as those 86 new members are, but the Power Team allready has an established solid track record. That is why it gives me such joy and enthusiasm to support and endorse the Power Team. I will be doing all I can to make sure their visit
to the Los Angeles Area is as successful as it can possibly be. Please feel free to use this letter in any manner you see fit.
